Our Research Library and Archives is a repository for research material and historical collections of the Roswell Historical Society and City of Roswell. Resources include information about the history of the city of Roswell and its environs, early settlers, the area’s textile mills, the Civil War, Cherokee Indians, local African American heritage, properties in the historic district, family genealogies, local businesses, and social and civic organizations.

Help Support our Library/Archives:
Our Research Library and Archives relies on donations and nominal fees for support. We accept donations to help defray the cost of archival storage materials and other operating needs. All donations are entirely tax deductible. If you wish to donate to our operating funds, please contact our archivist Elaine DeNiro by using the contact button below.
We also accept donations of books, photographs, and artifacts related to Roswell's history. Please help us to enrich our Library/Archives by donating to our collection.

We mount exhibits at various venues around Roswell. These often include interpretive panels as well as artifacts and historic textiles.
