A Message From Our President
Welcome to The Roswell Historical Society 2012!
We are entering our 41st year, and I am very excited about all the wonderful opportunities we have to promote the history of Roswell through our projects, programs, and special events. We are hosting the Georgia Trust Ramble in April, and it is going to be a spectacular weekend of tours, food, and fun. This will provide opportunities to appreciate the history of Roswell since historic properties that are rarely open to the public will be included in the 3 days of tours.
This year’s Board has already been hard at work planning for programs, fund raising projects, exciting new publications that will be available, along with social events to bring members together and celebrate all the wonderful people we have working to achieve our goals. I invite you to join us for our monthly meetings and get involved in all our special events and projects. The Roswell Historical Society is made up of a group of truly dedicated people who understand the importance of not only preserving the history of Roswell, but promoting and sharing that history with all who seek to understand how this beautiful city came to be. Please call our office or check back on this website often to learn what The Roswell Historical Society is doing next. We look forward to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time!
