Welcome to the Roswell Historical Society, Inc.
The Roswell Historical Society, our city's oldest historic preservation organization, was established in 1971. Since then, the Society has amassed considerable holdings of historically significant materials and artifacts. From the beginning, the Society has worked diligently to identify and preserve community landmarks.
The mission of the Roswell Historical Society is to collect, preserve, share, and promote the history of the city of Roswell and environs. We are an affiliate Chapter of the Georgia Historical Society.

Our eldest member Henry Wing (with cane) stands surrounded by many of our past presidents and founding members. Roswell's Mayor, and past president, Jere Wood is on the left.
Our archivist, Elaine DeNiro exhibited some of our many Roswell artifacts and historic photographs for all to enjoy.
